Yep. Cold.
We met some friends from the North Bay there since it is kind of in the middle. As soon as we got there, I made us all walk (speed walk, really) the length of the zoo to get to the Grizzle Bear enclosure for feeding time. Serafina wasn't overly interested in it.
It was the biggest crowd we saw all day and it wasn't even really that bad. Leo got a good view from Tom's shoulders. The polar bears liked the weather and were out and about. Leo got some binoculars for Christmas and they proved pretty useful at the zoo. This is what happens to Serafina's face when you ask her to smile for the camera.
The dads took the kids on the train around the zoo. The moms relaxed on a bench instead.
Pretty in pink.
Oh, there's the "cheese" face again.
Checking out a rhino.
Taking a break inside the big cat house. It didn't smell very good, but it was warmer in there.
It was nice to see our friends and the San Francisco Zoo was also really nice. I hope we can go back when the weather is a little less frigid. I'm such a wimp.
