Tom's 50th: Meow Wolf

Though Saturday's birthday dinner was the only "required" event on the itinerary, everyone ended up joining the outing to Meow Wolf on Sunday morning.  It's not easy to explain Meow Wolf except to say it is a huge interactive art experience.

There were cool outdoor sculptures and I made the kids pose with each one.

This cigarette machine was in the lobby.  It's been converted to sell art cards.  I loved it but didn't end up getting a card.

There is a story of the people who lived in the house and visitors can explore the store of this family and the multi-verse that exists in the house, but that wasn't something we paid too much attention to because we were busy experiencing as much as we could.

This is a video of the kids opening up a refrigerator in the house that is actually a tunnel to another room.
The whole experience was surreal and exciting.  I ended up chaperoning the three kids just like when we were at the museum in Denver last year.   Not everyone enjoyed Meow Wolf, but the kids and I certainly did.
We were separated from the rest of the family for most of the visit but we ran into Uncle Sal at one point.
The clothes dryer is actually a slide.

So many things to see and discover!

There's the birthday boy!
