Serafina's boat

Serafina's class tested out their homemade boats today to see if the boats would float.

Serafina had one of the most simple boats in the line up, but she also did almost all of the construction herself.

This kid clearly got some help and the result was pretty amazing.  His name is Sebastian and he is shy and extremely sweet.  I like this kid a whole lot.

The kids all waited patiently for their turn.  Serafina is so tall.  Sometimes I don't realize how tall she is until I see her sized up next to classmates.

 It floats!

She had a lot to say about the construction and her decorating choices.
