Waking up on Sunday morning in Mexico was awesome. Here's the view from our balcony.
That afternoon we took a cab about 30 minutes south the a beach called Xpu-ha. Lots of seaweed but still super fun.
Lots of working out got my back to look like that. Tom helped me tie that complicated bathing suit.
Seaweed queen.
Rinsing off in the shell shower.
Mexico is beautiful in so many ways.
We also found the most delicious Pringles flavor - chille lime.
On the way back we took a "collectivo" - kind of like a community van. The collectivo station was about a 20 minute walk from our hotel. We got the kids to do it with bribes, of course! I'm not sure the origins of this treat. It's not Mexican, but it's delicious. It was a cone of yummy sweet bread and it was filled with a your choice of filling. The kids got Nutella. Tom and I picked pastry cream. It was really tasty.
Mexico is fully embracing Frida Kahlo and it's kinda great.
Late afternoon dip in the pool. There were a handful of pools but the best one was definitely this infinity pool that looked out over the ocean.
Very relaxed Tom on the pool deck overlooking the ocean.
So much seaweed!
