Gymnastics Field Trip

Serafina's class went on the gymnastics field trip today.  Leo did this same trip two years ago.  I met the class at the gym when they got off the bus.  Serafina was excited.  

 Here she is warming up with some stretches.

 The Russian coach was still there and he instructed Serafina on the trampoline.

Here she goes.  

They added a harness to the trampoline and the kids were able to fly very high.  The kids were a little nervous.  

 Serafina didn't want to do it, but after her friend Kembrie got done and told her it was fun, she was willing to try it.  The coach strapped her in.

Up, up and away.  

So fun!

 Then it was on to the bars.

 And balance beam.

 They also did the rope swing.

 At the end, she was a little worn out.  The class went on to the park, but the preschool was holding an open house for prospective families, so I headed there to help.

 After the open house, we picked up Leo who was wearing a Yankee Doodle hat that he made complete with macaroni.
