Today, we celebrated big daddy, Tom. He got to pick our activity and he wanted to head to the coast along some beautiful back roads. This was definitely a testament to our love for poppa since gas is $4.50 a gallon and the roads were so narrow and winding I thought I was back in Arkansas. It was a gorgeous drive and our destination,
San Gregorio State Beach, was stunning. Unfortunately, like a typical Northern California beach, it was quite gray, windy and cold. We had fun anyways (but I'm looking forward to our trip to Seal Beach next month for some more traditional beach going).
Headed to the beach, for Leo's first glimpse of the ocean.

On the path to the beach.

Tom loved showing Leo the water, but I was very worried they would accidentally get wet.

I took this one, so when the doctor asked how Leo got pneumonia in June, I had evidence.

First time in the sand.
