My Valentines

Ugh

The kids are sick again and I'm feeling pretty crappy too. It is such a bummer and so exhausting, I don't really want to talk about it. We've been stuck at home, but doing our best to stay entertained and happy. See below.

Superbowl Sunday

We decided to get out for some fresh air and sunshine since there is a break in the rain and we knew we'd be hunkered down inside watching the game later in the day.

Brotherly love

I just need to document that Leo wiped Serafina's butt today. I was changing a poopy diaper and Leo got a baby wipe out of the box and asked to help. I made him wait until I finished the real dirty work, and then he lovingly clean up his sister's tush. I can't wait to tell him about this in the years to come when he is annoyed/angry/frustrated with his sister and wants to lock her in a closet.

Ink

Leo loves his big boy room and big boy bed. He loves to play in there. He dances around while watching himself in the mirrored closet doors. He piles stuff animals into the bed. He bounces from one end of the mattress to the other. He also is very big on having any visitor - Nana, the babysitter, his little friends - play in the room with him. When I put him down for a nap, he usually gets up and goofs off a little before crawling back into bed and falling asleep. I often find lots of stuff (books, toys, clothes) in the bed. The room is our former office/guest room, and apparently, there are still some pens since this is how Leo looked when I got him from his nap.

Five months old

She's getting so big. I wish I could freeze time, but I'm just cherishing every day. I love to kiss her toes and her squishy belly. Leo likes to kiss her too. And when she cries in the car, he tells her "it's okay, Serafina."
