Leo's 12th Birthday Bowling Party

Leo wanted a bowling party for his birthday this year.  He invited a mix of neighborhood friends and school friends.  There were five girls at the party and only one other boy.  For the record, he did invite two boys but one was out of town.

This went much better than his last bowling birthday party.  This bowling alley is dedicated to parties and fun, no league bowling at this joint.  This means it's super fun for the kids and not very well lit for the adults.

Anyway, they really have the party thing down at this place.

Here's Leo with his school friend, Lylie (pronounced Lily), in a car in the arcade party of the bowling alley.
Franny, Sid and Sofia were there too.  They liked the food and taking pictures in the photo booth.  Minimal bowling happening from this group.
We had two lanes and an endless supply of chicken fingers, French fries, pizza and soda.  It was paradise.
 Air hockey was very popular.
Serafina got to have Millie there too, which was super fun.  Serafina and Millie ended up doing the most actual bowling.

Leo's bowling technique could use a little work.

Leo wanted a supermarket cake with the Nike logo on it.  So that's what he got.
It was over in two short hours and everyone had a great time.  Both my kids now have cold coming on though and I'm pretty sure it was from the bowling alley.
