Family Reading Night 2014

Tonight the PTA hosted Family Reading night, an event I co-chaired last year.  I co-chaired it again this year with my friend Aida and it went smoothly.  Because I was an old pro this time around, I didn't get too stressed or over-worked. 

Serafina's teacher, who used to teach kindergarten, was our guest reader.  She did a great job and many of her former students came out to see her.  

 We had a pretty full crowd in the cafeteria.

 Serafina was happy to see her teacher too.

Since my job is over for the year, I was asked to take on a Executive Board vacancy so the president can have quorum at the meetings.  I've been trying to keep my school duties to a minimum, but since the president is my friend who I karaoke-ed with on Friday night, I couldn't say no.
