The kids were happy though and had fun skiing with their dad as always. Here's Leo being silly at lunch.
Our friends joined us and their kids had their first ski experience. They had lessons in the morning and really enjoyed it.
Here's Serafina, Ana and Leo hanging out after a long ski day.
We went out to dinner in downtown Truckee and poor Ana was so exhausted she didn't have an appetite. She was good about cooperating for a picture though.
Navid (on the left) was disappointed he wasn't at Leo's ski level yet and couldn't ski with him.
Today Tom took just our kids to a different ski spot with better snow coverage while our friends headed home.
I'm not sure what the rest of the season will be like. There are no storms in the forecast and the daily temperatures are pretty high for this time of year. This may have been their last ski weekend this season, but we are keeping our fingers crossed for one more weekend of skiing. Unfortunately, both kids had to miss their first baseball games of the season, but there will be plenty more to play over the next couple months.
