Diwali Party

Last night I attended a Diwali party hosted by a group of Indian moms I know from school.  There was lots of vegetarian food and dancing.  

As soon as we arrived, we were bejeweled with bindis.  Lizzy (middle) took over as preschool president after me and I took it over from Jenn (on the right).

 After the Diwali party, we did some more hanging out at Aida's.  My dress was a gift from Tom's first trip to India.  All the Indian hostesses were impressed that I came in my own Indian garment since most of the guests had to borrow clothes.  

 The nose bindi kept getting in my line of sight and making me cross-eyed.
