School tasks

Leo had the day off from school. It was nice to have a day to recover from Tahoe and the Super Bowl, but I made me realize that being home all day with both kids is extremely taxing.  I started looking up summer camps already.

Here are a couple of pictures of Leo at school from the weekly newsletter his teacher sends out.

Last year, Leo made his Valentines.  I thought that might be the last time that would happen, but since he has such a small class this year, I decided we'd do homemade cards again.  Serafina is making her own too.  They got through about half of them today.

Leo's school will also be celebrating their 100th day of school on Thursday, so he had to collect and count out 100 household objects to place in the ziplock bag his teacher sent home.

He picked Q-tips.
Getting Serafina to nap is a bit of an ordeal that I didn't want to undertake while Leo just sat around, so I let them skip nap time.  About 5:30, everyone slowed waaaaay down for a bit though.  A little vegging out is necessary sometimes.
