Mom/Kids trip - Seal Beach

We got back in the car and headed south to Seal Beach.  My Aunt Sheila, my Uncle Gene and his wife and almost all my cousins gathered so we could spend the day together.

We brought books for all the little kiddos.  Here's Serafina reading to baby Dezi.

"Uncle" Colvin had just flown in from Mexico City with these awesome chocolate skulls.

It was a beautiful sunny day and Serafina can't resist a pool, even if it's tiny.
Leo was reunited with sweet Anthony.
Here's all the littles.  From the left: Dezi held by big sister Zoe; Darwin held by Serafina; Jax held by Leo and Anthony.

Cousins and kids.  Dan and Monica with their boys, me and my monkeys, Ciara and Marcos with their babes and Nikita with Jax.
It was absolutely wonderful to see everyone and have all the kids play together.  I wish it could happen more often.  After family time, we headed down to the beach.

Of course the kids got all wet, but they changed and we headed to Anaheim.

We were tired and hungry but we couldn't resist boarding the shuttle to go to Downtown Disney.
You don't have to pay admission to visit Downtown Disney.  It's a restaurant and shopping area and it was packed solid with people.  We manage to negotiate the crowds to get some food and do a little shopping.
We were exhausted so we managed to fall asleep despite our excitement about the next day.
