Christmas Eve, featuring karaoke and the best lasagna ever

We had a very nice Christmas Eve.  Serafina is on antibiotics for a sinus infection, so she's feeling fine.  Leo was not nearly as on edge as past years.  It was a good day.

Here they are posing for a picture that Tom sent to his family in Italy.
Of course, we continued with the tradition of making butter cookies on Christmas Eve.

Modeling our Christmas socks.  You can kind of tell that the kids have the same size feet and that size isn't that much smaller than mine.

Tom made the most delicious lasagna I've ever tasted.
We gathered around the table to eat it.
It has cheese, sauce, vegetables and a bechamel.  It was so amazing.
After the lasagna part of dinner, we let the kids open a present from Nana.
It was a karaoke machine!  Plus some karaoke discs, including this one of 80s hits.
 Serafina was ready to go.
Frozen songs for her, of course.
Daddy got it hooked up and then took it for a test run.
Then Leo took over to sing his favorite song of all time, Thriller.
 Rocking it out.

 Serafina takes a turn.
She likes to face her audience.
And give her performance some flair.
There was lots of singing and then another course of dinner - scampi.  The kids left some cookies out for Santa and are snug in their beds.
