Serafina's reading medal

The professional hockey team, the San Jose Sharks, has a outreach program to encourage kids to read.  Serafina's school is participating and she was sent home with a reading log.  She was eager to fill it up, so we did a lot of reading in the month of November.  In fact, she had the highest page total in the class and earned a medal today for her hard work.  She was very proud of herself and wore her medal all day.  We went to a fundraiser for Leo's school at a local restaurant and ran into lots of friends.  She enthusiastically showed off her medal and told them about her reading log.
