Grumpy Indian*

Today Serafina's class went to the next door classroom for the annual "feast day".  Her class was dressed as Native Americans.

I came during the feast to take some pictures, but Serafina was clearly upset.  Check out this grumpy face.  I think a lot of it had to do with her lack of sleep (see post below).
All the other kids had "war paint" on their cheeks, but apparently she rejected the idea and burst out crying.   Here's adorable Isabella modeling the war paint and giving me the kind of awesome smile/eye contact I dream about when I photograph my kids.

Serafina is pretty cute too.

She wasn't very cooperative for the group shot either.

She walked back from the playground with the teacher and seemed pretty miserable.
*I realize that we don't refer to Native Americans as "Indians", especially around here where there are actual Indians from India, but it has a better ring to it for a blog title.
